Hey! So Glad You're Here.

This is a blog made especially for the students and whanau of Te Wai Puna (Room 1 and 2) of Cloverlea School.  In this space we will show case the learning and experiences that our lucky children get to have daily in our wonderful school.  There will be photos, blurbs, videos, student work and student voice!

In Te Wai Puna we have the same goals in mind as the NZ Curriculum - to foster and encourage "lifelong learners who are confident and creative, curious, connected, and actively involved."  Our LEGENDs will be developing and growing through a play-based program.  They will be building on their existing social skills, problem solving skills and growth mindset as well as incorporating rich learning tasks in Literacy (The Code) and Numeracy knowledge.

Our LEGEND characters, values and expectations play a vital role in the learning that happens within Te Wai Puna.  The children will be learning each character and what it looks like, sounds like or feels like to demonstrate the Cloverlea values in different settings across the school.

Excellence - I do the best I can do.

orGanised - I am ready.

rEsilience - I keep calm and carry on.

iNclusive - I include and respect others.

Determined - I keep trying.

The characters are Luke, Eva, Grace, Eli, Nia and Dan!

​

Miss Mac, Whaea Philippa and I (Mrs T) are going to be Determined (like Dan) to upload new content on a Thursday - ready for sharing in the weekend.  We are all very excited for this sharing opportunity.
